Dean I was thinking about a button for posts since your last visit. I find it very useful on other forums.

and the sql db can handle anything we throw at it :) lol
as for the chat room, its a bad idea as it cant be modded 24/7 :)

gents I sure you have seen it but.... there was an ad in miniworld for a confrence for people who run car clubs... its free for the first two club members Gaydon Club Expo Sat 25th nov at the heritage motor centre Gaydon. WWW.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk or 01926645120.
Has info on health and safty, memberhip mangementand the dynamics of web-based clubs???
I just was reading the mins from the last meeting and you mentioned about insurance etc....

only problem with a chat room, as its been said befor, is the fact it wil kill the post count on here. even if paid up mambers are just on the chat. think msn is the best option as me dean sian and phil and variousothers are usualy all in the same chat window anyway, its confusing as hel... just like chat rooms ha ha

It would help as a technical help if a member had a problem... maybe it could only be used if mods/ organisers were online.. for like tech issues, ideas for the club runs etc, organising clube events. anything that would benifit from direct fast paste chat . We use it like that at work and its very good.
A member could enter into a chat to discuss one of the above, but as you say the post count may fall.
