As the manager of Checkpoint in Mold i'm sorry that Club TCM feels we let him down. There has obviously been a case of 'crossed wires' on both our parts.

Clearly TCM genuinely believed he had been booked in enough to take the afternoon off work, but this was not that case and there was obviously a misunderstanding.

As I understand, the previous week TCM had popped in to ask if we could do the work and was told it won't be a problem and that we could book him in for Thursday. TCM told us he'd call just to let us know if that was ok. We didn't get the call so we were a bit taken off guard when he arrived on the Thursday despite not having called to book a time with us. We always agree an exact time with the customer so that we can manage our day more effectively!

We can always fit customers in at much shorter notice than most garages but on this occasion the same day wasn't an option having had a full day of bookings.

Club TCM, I realise that you have lost faith in us but I thought I should respond to your post and give a reason for not being able to do the work on the day you had planned!

Again, my apologies to you for any misunderstanding on our part, we were genuinely waiting for your call! As for us being "a great bunch of lads", are you sure you've got the right place? :)

I hope that this matter doesn't put other members off taking advantage of their 10% discount ;)

Kind Regards,

Simon Bradbury

Club tcm has been banned from Miniaddicts His views and opinions dont have anything to do with us anymore so dont worry to much.

I Nip down to checkpoint in Mold and Deeside now and again and have allways had fantastic service & great advise and would strongly recomend that any of the Miniaddicts get down there and make the most of your 10% discount:)

Thanks for your feedback Simon good to see you on the forum.

Many thanks Deano

Shame that tcm was able to voice his opinions on our site really. Please dont let this put anyone off. As Dean says we have always had good service. :)
