Thanks Ian I like it but not that much £30!! think I might give it a miss, Might make me own. By the way I found my note about the scrolling notice.
Its a SIGMA moving sign £39.99 + vat from MACKRo. Batt incl. Remote Control Memory about(their word) 470 charactors 5v 3a 15 w does that make sense? might get it cheaper of e-bay?

Ian. I was in Maplins (the electronics shop, not the holiday camp) the other day. They have scrolling screen with one on display (lefthand side of shop just passed halfway down) £39.99 but only about 60 characters max in message. It was a bit bigger than the one I saw in MACKRO . I don't think it had a remote control like MACKRO's . I think it might be handy for the club stand,(they both have their own batts) If you get the chance,have a look and let me know what you think
