Blackpool Run Sunday 8th october 2006…... well from the beginning of miniaddicts, we decided we would like to do an annual run for the club, so we have decided to possibly use a run to Blackpool every year as an annual event and raise money for a different charities every year. This Years charity has already been chosen as the meningitis trust and anyone taking part in this event we would please like to gather a voluntary contribution of £5 per mini or vehicle in order for us to raise money for the meningitis trust. This yet has to be organised but I would please like to gather a list of names as definite or maybe on taking part in this event including numbers and emails so I can keep in touch with you all on any proceedings for this event, I would also before hand like to do a practice run before we go so we can organise it that everyone taking parts knows exactly what will be going on! Watch this space for any further developments

Run info so far.

leaving at 12.30 lunchtime heading along the A41 details of the run wil be handed to you on the day.
we wil be heading to the focus store in blackpool first then meeting up with other mini clubs at 5pm.
having a few runs thru the lights. then we are thinking of goin to a pub for some tea. befor heading home. sound good??

at the moment it is mostly classics, but please don't let that put u off, we all welcome the bmw as much as the classics and it is hard gettin the bmw's involved!, bring ya wife an kids even a dog if a like :D will be a fun day out, wotta ya say???

Please dont be put off by the amount of classics coming on the run. BMW mini's are just as welcome as we pride ourselves in accepting both types into our club. We only had one BMW mini at the lord mayors parade but it attracted more attention than all the others put together! :) Look forward to seeing you and your mini very soon :D

come as whateva you want but was thinkin 70's... police not imposed a limit all the way ther have sent numerus letters to them im just waiting for tunnel police to get back to me.

I'm out... I have been working hard to get the car ready, but I must have disturbed a pipe and the hydro suspension sprung a leak today near the master cylinders... the car is now lower on one side....... so its dead

nope I dont know where to start... its a bit weird I have been changing the master cylinders and I presume have moved it its leaking from the nut at where the metal pipe joins the adaptor. I have tried to nip it up but it wont move ita already firm????

right... I have re-pumped the suspennsion I found a great guide on the web for Roy's pump.... and it worked a treat....

I have re-fitted all of the bits that were missing on the engine.... and I have the brakes to bleed and clutch slave cylinder..... so an early start tomorrow and all should be good :D
she fired first time... maybe she is starting to forget the 10 years of no TLC, as I have been spending most of my time getting her up to scratch :D

I had a great time and the wife loved it al.. I will cut the vid up and U-tube it... I got a great shot of all of the cars driving out before it all wne pete-tong and everyone wen the wrong way. I met upwith some locals and we went for a great fish an chip dinner....
