swine:rolleyes: Anyway apart from looking daft we put the offside wing on which really didnt fit very well and i had to split the spot welds on the wing and re-shape it to fit the car then we removed all the external chrome body clips something that the mini doesnt have. Them we removed the petrol tank and the windscreen so we are ready to get the body in shape for the paint cant wait

have you managed to upload them into photobucket yet? once you've logged in and selected your picture to upload they give you a box like the reply box with a line of code, if you click the picture icon when you're writing a message it gives you some code [ img]www.miniaddicts.co.uk/newlogo.jpg[/img.]

you just copy and paste the code into the box and it should insert the picture??
think that just confused me!!

I got it from Quality Factor (Staples) Sealand road. Over paintable stuff £9.99/litre a tin .You need a special spray gun to screw straight onto tin. the non overpaintable (which we used on the central under body can be obtained from CES app £3.99/litre, again applied by same s/gun) We used three tins of the non coatable and two of the coatable on the cills so colour coat can be applied.

NO! It was on the Elf when I got it and it worked when we put fresh petrol in and started it up for first time since it was last taxed in 1981, three or four turns and she/he started and ran like a sewing machine! The copper fuel pipe is the only new item we have put on (apart from the body panels of course).
The brake pipes etc had already been renewed. Denty has now got the doors to re-skin for me so watch this space!:D

Got the Elf doors back off Denty today. Looks like he's made a grand job of re skinning them.

Tomorrow I've got to find Polo.

She/He is hidden somewhere in the garage by a pile of **ite and has to be brought out to enable the elf to be garaged for final rubbing down for Denty to spray.

It's all systems go now!:D
