right, firstly its a 1979 light blue pickup

reason for the pro-mo conversion is 1) money, lol and
that if i ever do sell it or change my mind engine wise after a while, the R1 conversion doesn't take any body modification whatsover to fit in,

i'll post some pics up soon, but there isnt i suppose a massive amount to do

need to remove all glass and rubbers
send for respray then :D
need to rewire lights / indicators
fans / horn / windscreen wipers
fit new headlights
bumpers
fit carpets
fit headlining
foorcards
need to cut dash to suit the clocks i have and actually mount the dash ten ( of which i have no idea how to ) lol
it's the same dash as in bogus 2
fit seats and harness'
exterior
repair kit on the servo, and T into one of the vacuum pipes, again no idea how to ! lol
new wiper motors
fit camber brackets
fit rear suspension
and new 4 pot brakes at the front

ACTUALLY now i look at it ! theres bloody LOADS to do ! :mad: haha

getting there mate, just made a list of what needs doing ! and i reckon i've probably missed stuff out ! lol

RE-WIRE BACK IN
headlights / indicators / rear lights
courtesy light
fog lights
hazards
horn
fuel gauge ( need to buy )
de-misters

EXTERIOR
fit rectifier to inner wing
remove headlights
remove indicators
remove all glass & seals
re-fit rear suspension
fit camber brackets
fit repair kit to servo and T into one of the vacuum pipes
fit scott-oiler
remove wing mirrors
remove door furniture
level up drivers door
send for spray job inside n out + arches done black
Remove rubber seals around doors
THEN
re-fit glass
fit new 4-pot calipers, disks and braided hosing all round
fit new number plates
fit new rear quarter bumpers
fit new front bumper
fit new grille
fit new windscreen wipers
re-fit arches
fit sill trim
re-fit headlights
re-fit indicators
re-fit bonnet
fit new bonnet surround
fit new wing mirrors
waxoyl underside
re-fit door handles and furniture
INTERIOR
sound deadening !!!???
fit carpets
fit door cards
fit door bin liners
fit headlining
fit and cut bogus 2 style dash for R1 clocks / power commander / fuel guage to go in, no idea how to yet
move reverse lever, drill hole in dash to accomodate
"centre console to be cut for push button start and switches,
plus centre switch panel"
then sent off to retro for covering
refit steering columns cowl ( after sending to retro for covering )
fasten down battery properly !
fit harness'
fit seats
fit steering wheel
fit kick plates on doors

then..........MOT TIME !!!!!!!!

HOLY CRAP ! lol

well i get paid on the 25th, my mate is coming over this saturday to price up the re-spray, and as long as everything is ok price wise, that's when it will all begin, he can pick it up oin the 25th and once i get it back it will start
