mini gert is coming on

hi guys and gals
thought id give you a update on gert as it has been a while, after the disaster of my flip front we decided to buy a brand new 2 piece fibre galss front with a smart looking bonnet to i must add :) . gert has changed loads daz (my very patient hubby) has stripped here completly inside and out and has spent many hours sanding, replacing panels, and primering gert and wet a drying all the panels:eek: so she will be ready for spraying soon est mid october im soooo excied :D going to take some pics on the digital camera at the weekend to put on so you can all see hows she is coming along,
there is 2 problems i have though and that is i cannot find anyone to recover my cobru bucket seats and i need a new roof lining is anyone has any ideas then it would really help. :)

i was sorry to hear about your nightmare with the original flip front but it sounds like you are back on track now. i hope it all goes well.

it will be nice to see the pics of how the project is coming along. i'm sure anyone who is thinking about fitting a flip front will be very interested in your experiences.

have you thought about asking a regular upholsterers to recover your buckets ?
