View Full Version : advice needed on front brakes

hi all... merry christmas and a happy new year before i start.....

right.. does anyone know of an easier way of taking the old brake pipes off as im wanting to replace with goodridge ones, ive had a look today and i cant get to the nut on the engine side ...anyone know of a guide floating around or can give me a heads up

you should have an access hole in the inner wing... you will need to take the union for the metal pipe first then undo the big nut. you can then crack off take the pipe out of the calliper and unscrew the pipe.

I Allways make the holes bigger its the only way i can get me sausage fingers in

Or alternatively, just pull the inner wing back out of the way... and then use a flexi headed socket wrench to get on the nit after the pipe has been removed.

hi guys.... made an inspection hole in my inner wing the ground the subframe flush so i could undo the nut...all sorted now cheers guys
