http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y141/MR-SIDEWAYS/025.jpgHi, i just but these rimms on my mini they are a bit tatty but i am keeping them untill i can afford some sports pack rims, my question is this the rimms are 13x7's.My mini still has its origanal rack do i need to now buy a sports pack steering rack?
I am not a mini guru and just started playing with them but i am sure i read some where if you put 13 inch rimms on you need a diffrent rack i have clearence and the rims dont foul any where so can some one let me know if its ok or if i do have to swop racks whats the reason behind it.

I Just got away with it with 7x13 Alley cats it depends on the offset if they hit the body or not .

as long as the wheels dont rub on the body on both locks its ok

Sportspack racks are only different in that they have 'stops' in them to limit the travel to stop the wheels rubbing.
seeing as it's a right pain in the ass to change it once it's all in, I'd say do it now if you're going to go sportspack rims eventually... they WILL rub on the inner wings and screw the paint up!!.
