New Venue

It has been mentioned this evening that we might be getting slightly too big for the Pub. Any suggestions on a new venue? I have a place in mind and know the owners very well but will have to confirm stuff with them first. What do you think peeps??? :)

I know where you mean Kaye. It's 1 minute off the A55 (easier to get to for me from Chester and probably 95 % of our members too)
It'll be brilliant for directing our visitors too!!!!!!!

How about the Holiday Inn on the A55? Wed night prob a quiet night for them as well and they have a big carpark

I don't think holiday inn is a good idea. Awkward as Sian says maybe expensive. I discussed it with Sian's Mum whilst stripping in the bathroom (oops, I've let our secret meeting place out!) About The Boot perhaps on a Monday Night, supposed to be quiet, restaurant not used. What you think?

Sensible ideas please! The Boot is no bigger than a shoebox, and Monday is quiz night. The car park is non existant. Might as well stay where we are. A55 is a pest for anyone coming the other way too. Think the Red Lion is the best idea so far. Or the other place i was thinkin was the Potters Wheel in Buckley. Big pub, Big Car Park and I know the owners who have recently bought it? Any more suggestions??? :)

where ever it ends up, the car park is going to a tourist attraction !

Boot is in Northop, which is between Mold and Flint. The car park is all 6 spaces just outside and a little bit of room round the back. Its right on the High Street too, so too many leaking mini's could cause uproar in the little village :rolleyes:

I was thinkin of the the Red lion aswell.
Beer is good, Me and John caerwys sampled a pint each in advance on saturday at the show for you;) :D

Our new club venue is the Red Lion in Northop in the restaurant side. our 1st meet will be there @ 8:00pm on the 4th of october Easy to find turn off junction 33 on the a55 turn towards Northop and its opposite the big church.
