Hi
Please be patient with me as I am new to this (forum and minis) I am renovating a mini for my daughter I have done the body work loads of welding, and I am now starting on the suspension at the rear on the rear sub frame there is a aluminium cone with a rubber cone on the end that fits on the trailing arm . The problem I am having is I am trying to fit new rubber cone to the end of the allie cone .The new rubber cone has a screw thread in the centre but the old one is moulded on am I missing something or are there two types

There are two types both will fit the rear but you need the one with the threads for the front to use the compression tool, if you need to carry out any repairs to suspension in the future, so as it is the rear you are doing it will fit, hope this helps

There are stanfard solid type alloy trumpets & Hi-low`s add on modifacation to allow you to adjust the ride height.
