im looking at fitting a inch and three quarter su to my mini until i can get it rolling roaded but im running an electric pump , will this be ok ?

Has the pump been powering the engine through a carb before and you're just changing the carb?
If so then chances are it's something like a facet pump and would be fine if you also have a fuel pressure regulator in the line too.

However if it's a pump from an MPi or SPi then chances are...no as these are high pressure pumps (approx 3 bar).

its been running my 40dcoe without a pressure reg :)

Weber carb good up to about 4psi so you'll have a pretty standard electric pump... probably somthing like a Facet red Top... will be fine on an SU carb but would recommend fitting FPR to give consistent fuel pressure at all times...

If fitting an electric pump of any kind make sure you install a inpact cut off switch, in case of a smash it cut the petrol off if can not??.

There a lot of rover 200 400 600 ect with efi systems fitted.
