Hi Guys,

Ive had the rear shocks replaced for GMAX's so it settles a bit lower. I bought them at Himley last week from Minisport.

However, (and there's always a "however" isnt there!?) the rear ns shock has an unusual hollow bumping noise but only on certain bumps in the road. (sounds like when something in the boot bounces around over a speed bump or something)

It doesnt sound serious, just somethings not quite right. It doesnt follow any pattern of when it happens. It just happens!
Does anyone know of this happening on theirs or what it could be?

Could it be a faulty shock or something to do with the fuel tank? (I checked the fuel tank and lower shock bolt & they aint loose or anything)

On the plus side...I now have a cigarette lighter socket for my satnav!

Cheers for any suggestions you might have.

Adam

Ive had the same problem its the silicone boot sticking to the body inner wheel plenty of silicone spray stopped it & make sure the shock isnt touching the radius arm to:)
