Forum RulesTo keep The MINI ADDICTS forums a nice, friendly place to be, here are a few rules we'd like to follow:
Registration
Registration is free. You will only be able to post once you have registered with a valid Email Address.
Please try to post in the right forum!
This helps people who are interested in your post find it. We may move, edit or delete your post if we consider it to be in the wrong forum. If you have a topic that doesn't fit into any of the forums, post it in 'waffle'.
Use a Descriptive Topic Subject
This will help others find what they want to read. For example:
If you want to know where to buy cheap tyres, create a topic called "Where can I get cheap tyres?", not "Where???" or "Tyres....".
No Personal Attacks on people or their mini`s
Criticise ideas, not people. Attacking other board users will not be tolerated. If you consider a post to be offensive to you or someone you know, do not retaliate! Simply send a private message to either a moderator or forum admin, explaining which post you find offensive & why - they will deal with it.
Racism
We will not tolerate racist remarks on this website.
Respect the privacy of others
Do not post other's phone numbers, addresses, pictures, etc., without their permission.
No Spamming
No commercial posts or flooding the forum with useless content. This includes attempting to boost your post count by posting unnecessarily.
Message content
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages miniaddicts are not responsible for actions coments and views posted on our forum/website.
Caps Lock
Please do not post messages with the subject or post all in capital letters, or your message will be edited or deleted. Words all in capitals are not only annoying, but are considered to be SHOUTING under standard internet etiquette.
Enforcement of Rules
If you break any of these rules you may have your posts deleted, edited or moved. If the violation is serious enough or repeated after you have been warned, your account may be deleted or suspended.
If you find a post that breaks any of these rules, please send a private message to a moderator or forum admin.
The owners of MiniAddicts - The mini forum for everybody! reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason or ban any user without notification Any membership paid will not be refunded.
Miniaddicts accept no liability for goods or service`s bought or sold on our website/forum. Please keep it to mini related items anyone found not selling mini related items will be issued a warning & face a possible BAN!
Rules are only enforced to keep the forum running well many of us will never breach them.

Club Rules

CLUB RULES
The following are a few rules of the club that I hope you will all find common sense, however rules do have to be seen to be set down on paper.
1. We welcome drivers of all ages, however we would ask any driver who is a banned driver and still driving (ie, Illegally) not to join our club. Boy racers and careless drivers also need not attend. We are not saying that we all drive at 29 MPH but we do ask all members to respect the law of the land when it comes to road use. Dangerous driving will not be tolerated and anyone driving as such will be asked to leave the club.
2. No company or organisation is to advertise or promote themselves off the back of MINIADDICTS without the prior permission of Miniaddicts team.
3. We accept that members may wish to try out other clubs and we do not hold that against anyone. You can be a member of as many clubs as you wish, all that we ask is that you do not discuss our business at their meetings.
4. No mini is better than anyone else’s. We all have a love for our mini, whether it be a Scruffy old & battered Classic or a gleaming new BMW mini. A bit of friendly banter is acceptable, but when insults start to fly, then people concerned will be asked to leave the club. We are all proud of our minis.
5. If anyone does or says anything to get the club a bad name or adverse publicity, we will have no option but to remove that person or persons from the club.
6. A lot of clubs refuse to have anything to do with the BMW mini. Please respect their views (We are all entitled to an opinion) and we ask you to not get into a heated discussion about this.
7. Respect the areas / show grounds we go to with our club. Whilst displaying the MINIADDICTS sticker or website address in your car or wearing club merchandise, you are representing the club. We ask you to do this with pride.
8. Most important of all, Enjoy yourselves with MiniAddicts
