Problems starting and idleing

I have real trouble getting my Mini 1000 to start. Found that the rotar shaft on my old Dizzy was bent so replaced with another Dizzy and still having the same trouble. The contacts and condensor are brand new. :'(

Is the shaft bent on the new dizzy ?

I wouldnt have thought so? :/ Its possible cus the bloke I bought it off dug it out of a box full of bits so it could of got damaged then but also when i messure the gaps between the points they are all the same? :/

Checked the oil in the dashpot ?

I dont know what i did today but i got her going?! I took the carb and drained the float chamber and the fuel was a milky colour!! :/ So i dumped some down the carb and after a few goes she finally went!?
