hi all am having a few problems with oil leaking from gear leaver rod selector have bought a replacement kit but can it be done whilst on the car i take it i dont have to take gearbox and diff all off hope not , i also have oil leaking from dip stick and have been told this is normal for high performance engines but i cannot find a replacement one any where they are out of stock is there anything i can do to stop this , look forward to hearing from you all.

selector seal can be done in car and you need to put a spring on the dipstick to hold it in :)

You can also fit two seals in the gear selector which stops it leaking

i've got 2 seals in mine... it stopped the leaks.... for about a week! :) haha

think minispares do a selector seal kit ?
just a thought but are all your breathers clear so the crankcase can breath ?
