Let me introduce myself and my mini

Hi to all out there, my name is Mark and I am new to the site.

After many years of non mini ownership (my first couple of cars being mini's) I found that I was again looking for a small sporty car (needed 4 seats) and therefore became the owner of a brand new Hyper Blue with white roof Mini Cooper "S" which has at present only done 600 miles (went on holiday 4 days after picking her up and only been back a week).

I use the car as my daily driver from Denbigh to Holywell to work and back and I am enjoying the drive much more now I am driving the "S" (this may also be because I decided to have the Works 210bhp engine fitted under the bonnet and it is a lot of fun)

Have sent in my application to join the club and look forward to joining you soon maybe for some runs or shows.

I spotted the details about the club in the new Modern Mini mag 2nd edition in the letters section.
I was put onto the mag by my a freind of mine who has recently bought a new cooper s checkmate (who I may also be able to get to join)

Hoprfully I will get to the meeting next week at 8.00pm

Could somebody give me directions to the show on Saturday as I may be able to get along at leats to have a look around

Which way are you coming from?
We did promise ourselves that we wouldn't do any shows where BMW mini's arn't welcome. Still not sure bout the small print for this show in Northop. People love to see the two mini's together so they can compare them. Maybe if we flutter our headlights and show em a bit of wheel they might let us bring some beemers.
There is an Open Day at Chester Hostpital on the 9th of September which you are more than welcome to bring your mini to. We are just having a club stand there and doing our bit for charity. More details to be anounced this week so watch this space :)

You are right, I am from Denbigh, but I will come to the show in the afternoon from the Wirral (gotta take my Dad to look at a new VW)
