1380 Short engine for sale

"New old stock" Minisport 1380 short engine for sale.

This short engine was bought by a friend of mine from Minisport to replace a turbo engine some years ago due to unreliability, but was never fitted as he wrote the car off first and decided to call it a day with minis.

I have the origional invoice from 1998 for £549.99 and the build manual also

I have been in touch with Minisport to confirm what it is and they confirm its a bored out 1380 fitted wih a David Vizard 544 camshaft.

If anybodies interested I am looking for offers around £350

Description is for a 'short' engine...

This is normally just block, pistons, cam, crank, bearings etc all assembled.
I.e. the bottom end only.

Descriptions are normally:

Short Engine: As above.
Half Engine: As above plus head assembled into short engine
Full engine: As Half engine but with gearbox...

As for mileage covered... er the ad states:

As stated this is an unused short engine, never had a gearbox or head bolted to it
