Mini addict behaviour

Bought some brightware for Elle at MIT Pond (what pond?) Was fitting s/s bumper on and found myself talking to her!!!!!!! Thought I was having one of my senior moments (I am 61 you know!) but Deano has reassured me it's normal Miniaddict behaviour! Thank God! He also said it's worse when you're shouting at them! (do we shout at our minis?) What you say??

its ok tony, im the youngest and i talk to misty (the sprite) all the time tellin her that i love her and will get her on the road asap!!! i even spoke to sid (the saxo) yesterday and hugged him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mini`s can cause some very strange behavior they make you laugh cry and bleed and find yourself talking to them more often than you realise eg come on car dont stop here:) well done for getting up that hill :rolleyes:
The ~#'@"% (~#'@"%) wipers have stoped again:mad: please start ill treat you to an oil change.

Isnt that why we give our beloved cars names? so we can relate to them better, dont know of anyone in the club, who hasnt named their car.
Think the things i was saying to Devlin all the way to MITP was, Pleeaaaaaasssssseeeeeeeeeee! make it down there and you will get a few nice new stickers and an engine steady!. Iif you make it all the way back you can have a roll cage etc!

Now look whats happened, ive got to sell him (For sale section:mad: ), have told him its not his fault and if there was any other way i could keep him, i would! he knows i mean that too! He understands me!

just latley i found myself promising that i will get her back on the road a.s.a.p. with a nice new engine and a tidy up around the edges. i also find that nippy (my mini) has more than one name (some of which i could not mention here) ..... like, little beauty.... (thats the only one i can mention) and at times she becomes a he. ok..... whats the number ? i'll call the men in white coats myself.

charlie had a random burst of speed today (not the drug!) could just be she bin running really bad recently but i actually said to her "holly s%!t Charlie! Were have you bin hiding that!!???:D:D" as i completely annialated the golf behind me! she answered by coughing and going slow the rest of the way home!!:(

sometimes mavis wets herself in the garage and leaves a pool of oil.

id be quite worried if charlie became incontinent! :( she did that one time i went to m&m's went in to buy something random and one of the guys in there said "do you know your mini sounds like a kettle?" :eek: went outside and she had steam pouring from the grille and wing adn was sitting in a nice hot growing puddle, bloody flimsy bypass hose! sorted it for good now! (fingers crossed!;) )

a lesson i learnt a couple of years ago on the way to silverstone to mitp carry a spare coil,the AA charged me 45 quid for a second hand one!!!!!! only 12 quid new (gold sports too!).........

i havnt had any problems yet with the cold weather and starting but noticed she ran better with the cold air about which is a big help lol

I would love one of those BMW K-series bike 16V head conversions..... but mine is too original at the mo to do naything but bolt-on mods or I would be doing a bad thing....

Still its done 57K and at 36 years of age it wont last for ever....... then I will have an excuse:rolleyes: not that I'm whishing for it to go bang :(

The wifes Skoda VRS is about 5-10% faster in the cold chipped or not chipped. BIG Intercooler's are a must in the sun

Lucy's recent trick was to cut out at random intervals for no apparent reason, This lead to lots of sweet talk, Encouragment, Patting on the dash etc, and eventually descended into swearing and whacking the starter motor with a spanner

I talk to 'reggie' all the time, responses vary from demanding more shiny new objects (this weeks its the suspension coming from Japan!!) to gaping wounds to my body (ended up in A&E after using an industrial cleaner and it peeled all the skin from my arms and chunked my hand with a grinder)...I have been neglecting him this week so we had a little chat soon about his new engine and suspension...

But I also talk to Darth (the mercedes) too so i'm even odder than most :p

I talk to Mabel all the time.... I tell her that i love her and that it was'nt her fault when she failed MOT. Told her 'well done' when she passed. I tell her that shes done well if we travel over 10 miles and just have 'normal' (one sided - she never answers) conversations about the weather and stuff. :p
I dont think i'm mad but i would worry if she did start 2 answer back - then i'd book myself into the nearest loony bin (as long as Mabes could come with me of course ;) )
