hey people, anyone else fancy making a mini weekend of shows? we got northrop on saturday, and me and jen are going to sandon on sunday, anyone else planning on going? we were going anyway i think? saw some more bargains at mini-in-the-pond and quite fancy some more little cheap bits before i run out of pennies completely and the british summer (or winter) comes to an end! :rolleyes:

Would be nice to go but Deano is working Sunday and it's getting a bit difficult for me crawling in and out of the mini at the mo. The suspension isn't the best either (what suspension)! Any more mini rides and i might go into labour! Hope you have a great time and find lots of bargains. :D

would You like a banner to take with you? im gutted im missing it this year but we have got some mega plans for future events and we hope to get a club stand at nearly every mini event next year cant wait:)
Has charlie had the mods bolted on yet mate? is it going like stink?

we can do and get some cool pics in the car park, bolted on the 'stage 1' (inlet manifold, lcb, full exhaust) and now she's running worse than ever! the timing is well shot! :(

i was driving my miss's little mini black with pink union jack on roof...mines still in me garage lol just needs painting and then finished tiz looking like it going to see the light again next year now LOL !!! we tried for a club stand at sandon this year mailed the back in july,they only got back to us last week lol...then tell me they will only allow 10 mins on in a club and its a 80'theme (arggghhh !) only a week to get things sorted....so thouight we will give it a miss this year but we will be taking the banner and all parking togetther,if you see us all b4 we see you give a big shout to us all...see ya sunday

cheers deano, got a chain tensioner ordered on express delivery now so we'll have to see what happens with her! she runs fine on idle but as soon as you start accelerating (the best bit!) she struggles and coughs! checked the timing and its fine on idle then goes ape when you accelerate! :):)

just a quicky !!! have you made sure the advance diafram is ok on the dizzy...give it a good suck on the pipe (LOL !!! sounds rude) and make sure the point move ok on the base plate

she's got electronic ignitions and no points, could be the vaccum? just hoping its not the actual dizzy! its £5 for a chain tensioner and £145 for the dizzy i looked at! :D nice performance aldion one! (if i'm gonna change it i may as well do it properly!)

did ya make sure that ya ran a new ignition live to the plus (+) side of the coil ? as standard (pink and white wire)they are ballest resiter (meaning 9volts to coil,only 12v when starting)ps...still has a advance on a leccy dizzy,works the same as points,still has to advance,if you suck on the pipe you should feel it move internaly

she had a new coil over the weekend to get her back from mini in the park, a lucas perfomance gold, all the wires were just swapped straight from the original coil onto that one?

not touched the carb needle, stage 1 was good value, dont quite no how but ended up with a backbox, link pipe, lcb, a box of minifins and an engine stabaliser ?? only paid about £105 tho! :)

just got back from sandon. was a good dayb hopefully we can make it a club event next year. got rid of all the zaps and graces mini was in full view with the good oold miniaddicts in the window and loadsa photos wer taken too so hopefully get notices a bit aswel

Photos of us at windy wet Northop. Saw a great new mini there. Grace's mini went to Sandon Park today, ( Mum & Dad), whilst Grace lolls around in Italy. We were asked to go on the Pink Mini Stand. Got plenty of attention with the club web address prominently displayed, and the editor of Mini took photo, so perhaps it will be in the mag. (Good for miniaddicts ? ) . Pink Mini clubs could learn a lesson in being friendly and welcoming from Miniaddicts. They hardly spoke to us, very cliquey, and I missed the ready provision of bacon butties and tea. We and the rest of addicts waited around on the offchance of winning the Mini but failed.

yeah! was a good day! we thought we had that mini in the bag! jen was worrying about how she was gonna drive it home! didn't happen tho! :( was a very nice mini tho!

Fantastic thank you to you all for getting down there with your miniaddicts stickers getting noticed what a fantastic job we will be there next year in force with the tea and bacon butties on the go:)
