mini suspension

Hi , i have my mini city e which i am doing the promotive conversion on how ever i am stuck between coil overs or hi lo's and dampers ? i am looking to use the car for short journeys most days, i mean i have been in my brothers car which is on coil overs and it doesnt feel to bad how ever i have had a friend who says dont get coil overs because his mini was far to bumpy so he changed back to dampers and hi lo's , just wondering if any one has any advice

Trouble is with coil overs people dont adjust them they fit them set them rock hard & think there mini will handle. When if you get the right springs & damper rate they are great

is it woth the extra cost on the coil overs ?? and dont you have to change the rear subframe or something ? i havent really looked into it that much yet

I would go for the coil overs on a promotive kit as you will have much less weight on the front but the best people to ask would be Promotive.

You can use rear subframe & coilovers but most people convert to beam axle to save weight:)
