hey guys, im not planning to do it just yet, cuz i need to wait till im 25 b4 i can insure a modified car...but i was wondering if anyone knew abuot replacing the origanal engine in a mini with a motorbike one?

will only be for a bit of fun ever now and then, not an every day car

i know there are issues like no reverse gear but thats the kinda thing i was hoping to get advice on

any info would be great thanks

£6K with a a £3K cheque to promotive... or 15-20K and a trip to Zcars. Done.

If your still interested im doing the pro motive engine conversion. i ahve not yet looked at insurance how ever a friend of mine has a mk 1 fiesta and he asked about putting a 1000cc bike engine in and they said well why would you want to make your engine smaller , as it was standard 1.1. so they gave me a quote and the price actualy went down even because the engine size had been reduced.
