weird knocking noise

hi guys, when im driving along and come off the accelerator and let the engine brake i get a clunking noise coming from the front(sounds like something is moving), i have a steady bar ontop of the engine so do you think i need a lower one too???

Could be a few things but test all staedy bars & bush`s & exhaust fitment as that can hit the floor

cheers deano...will do... ive put the mini into the girlfriends garage now for the winter so gives me an ideal oppertunity to strip, paint, service blah blah...il check the steady and bushes...exhaust did come to mind as it sounds like its coming from the area this will give me the will to take it off and paint it..;)
