if i put a stage one kit onto my mini city how much bhp will this boost it up by quite intrested in gettin one.wb

Hiya mate.
MiniSport state that their Stage one kit gives over 20% increase in power, but from what im told, on average it is more in the region of 10-15%.

hi,
I think one of the best results was about 51 bhp from fitting a stage one kit to a standerd 998. Once its fitted it really needs a rolling road tune to achive best results. Electronic ignition also helped with the result aswell.

well i am thinking of buyin the stage one kit and takin it to this garage gettin it fitted and get the engine tuned at the same time but the garage i am taken it to apprently the owner or sum1 rallys minis and tunes them up. so u rekon it will run betta if i get them both done at the same time??

yeah it probly be best to do that, but if you do take it to be fitted at a later date he would probly give it a retune than anywhy. i would ask and see what he says.

Got it spot on there jules it is all about tuning the right timing` mixture `carb needle just tuning a standard engine right can make a massive power increase
