Hi All
Does anybdy have any experience or has fitted a coil spring kit as i would like to put one on my car, as at my age i'm more built for comfort rather than speed
ive made a cockup with the knuckles, trumpets, ride height on the car so ive got to take it to bits anyway so thought it would be a good idea to fit at the same time
thanks
tim

Ally fitted these to the rear of his car and when he was on the Lakes Run one of them collapsed, I don't think he is to impressed with them, why not PM him to find out

smoother ride alex moulton kit is much better for comfort some of the spring kit`s need you to lower the car to keep the springs from falling out! which makes the ride harsher:(

I was going to get some coil springs this weekend as i've had 2 rubber cones collapse in the past couple of years, but if the springs collapse too i don't know whether to get any now i was hoping they might last longer than the rubber cones anybody else had any trouble with them?

Rubber cones don't collapse normaly, I would say that 90% of minis that are on the road are still using their original cones. Just get a tidy set of of hi lows. Not the cheap ones.

I do have hi los on it already what would the problem be if the hi lo is up as far as it can go with 2 washers on the cone and the wheel is only about 2 inches from the top of the wheelarch? The hi lo also comes loose from the cone when you jack it up

Which set is it the front or the back.
the prob i had was the hilo snaped not the sping colapeing there is a far improved ride with springs but would recomend the hardest springs and proper hilos not the cheap 1s that everyones sellin at the mo hope this help :)
