squeaky brakes

please help.when braking my brakes squeak.i have checked the pads and cannot see anything wrong.any ideas ? cheers

Hi, I tried everything but the squeaking did not stop. I put copper paste on the back, I purchased anti squeal pads ......nothing changed.

Now I am using after trying different companies:

ATE article nbr. 13.0460-6912.2 disc brake pads
Thickness [mm] 14, Width [mm] 74,3, Height [mm] 64,3

After 1000 km no squeaking, not the usual dust on the wheels, the pads are class A and breaking you do not hear the slight usual rubbing noise.

The discs do not yet show any stripes. So it seems it is a matter of the pad quality! Cost for these ATE for the two front brakes: Euro 21 which is not bad.

For me this is nbr. one.

cheers mate,finally got round to putting some copper slip on back of pads and the squeak has stopped :)
