Excuse for my first post being a help post lol.

Its for my girlfriend, she has a 2004 Mini cooper.

Went to BMW today to get it checked over as its still under TLC package (what a waste of money that is)

The following were found and a grand total of work £1500.

Power steering hose
Power steering leaking? PUMP seal
Rocker cover gasket leaking
Sump leaking
Girlfriend said paper work said about the gearbox having to be removed? Will update this when i get full details.

other things such as disks, pads, window wipers (Not to important atm as they need doing for MOT).

Thing is the car only has 25k on the clock, are new mini's known to be so faulty? I wish I had gone with her to see it before she bought it, as when she got it back, the engine was literally empty of oil, and the power steering was making a funny noise when turning.

My questions are, where to buy parts for a mini? Had a look at GSF, but not many parts listed.

Sump gasket, rocker gasket, wipers, brake pads + disks.

cost me a little more for mapping , cams, stand alone ecu with fitting than it does to sort what sounds like easy problems.

Will check the list shortly
