My poor mini mavis as most of you know get`s well abused being thrashed about towing a trailer tent fully loaded accross the country etc

so mavis has never really ever stoped to well with it being an auto with a little bit of go :(

& it keeps overheating not so much now with the aircraft fan on the inner wing.

So ive put some early metro 4 pots with solid discs on & a two core rad

She does now stop a bit better the front wheels will now lock up but still not a sharp as i thought it would be :(

The two core hasnt made to much difference but doing 100mph (off puplic highway) it didnt go above 90 so its donr the trick :)

the quicker you push my car the cooler it gets with that rad...

Do you have a shuttle valve on the bulk head? could be not letting enough pressure to the front. I read on mini mania there was a special bleeding technique when using these valves.... PWDA????

sorr it was somerfords read page 37 on the right at the bottom. intresting stuff...

There was a discussion about chucking them and using a bias valve or the correct size rear wheel cylinders so you cant lock the rears before the fronts.
I must admit the best mini for brakes I have ever been in was mr Rallys blue one that run a clutch bean can... and masssssiiiivve six pots. But it did stop as well as it went..
