My name's Rebecca and I own an MPI Cooper (97) that's pretty much standard, in Red/White/Rust :D

I don't know which one of you spotted me, but this weekend I was staying at the Ramada Jarvis hotel in Chester and when I went back to my car on the Sunday I'd been flyered!:p

I live in Cardiff at the moment, so not that local to you lot! But I'm sure we'll bump into eachother at the shows and stuff. I'm off to MITP in August, any of you lot going?

Hello all thanks for the welcomes :D

Yep I'm Babybek from the mini forum too (is that a bad thing!? you haven't seen me drunk have you?!) and also one and the same on miniangels.

Sven - the bonnet is only up on an angle coz the fan was on constantly, drilled a few holes in the thermostat thingy-me-jiggy and all is ok now! Just couldn't be bothered to put the bonnet back down what with all the long distance driving I have planned!......... don't worry, I've not got anything exciting hidden under the bonnet :rolleyes:

I'll definately try and find you all at MITP. I'm camping too, will prob be with the TMF bunch, and nursing a sore head on the Sunday :D

So how long has the club been going? Have you got a lot of members?

Have had a quick pootle through the site, it seems fab. I really like your web rules... very eloquent, especially with regards to the old v new issue!! We should all be one big happy family :)

We have been around since march this year so not doing to bad :) membership for the club is growing every month as is the web site and forum but it is alot of hard work for John Tony Sian Kaye and myself but the rewards of seeing all those mini`s and people having a laugh together is great.

Dean has a great point, can't really say i've done to much work though as im always hiding in work :rolleyes: but the rest of them have!! seeing all the mini's turn up to events and everyone so happy to be along with us is defo rewarding!! :D

Sounds good. It's always hard work getting things going. But like you say, very rewarding! You seem to be doing a good job so far :)

One thing I find with a lot of clubs is that there's a lot of 'clickyness', but I'm happy to report that you all seem to be free of that here. I've been made to feel very welcome....... and all I did was go on a hen weekend in Chester! Fab x

Thanks for the positive comments hun, just goes to show, we're all doing something right! and in reply to Siano's comment, you have been doing a lot for us hun, remember there is no "I" in the word TEAM! we are working well and positive comments and having so many people taking note of us, is only the first step.

I have had my car MOT'd today.... so it won't be a mad panic to get it done the week before MITP like it was last year!

I loved the stand. Although when I walked past I couldn't really see any of you, although you could have been swamped by the decorations!!

Hi. Sorry we missed you at our stand. We struggled a bit to set it all up because of lack of space and we were a bit enclosed. I had crawled into my pit by the time you popped to see us camping. Hope to see you again soon :)
