For those of you who ment Emily on Sat at the LMP you might want to know that after a trip into chester today she developed a horrible judder that felt like the diff had stripped a few teeth but after hauling the engine out in 45mins and getting the diff off............. theres not a damn thing wrong with it! inspection through the diff hole showed nothing either as i thought the main bearing may have collapsed but nothing there either. So gonna take the speedo housing and the bell housing off 2moz and see if that yeilds any light on the prob. Unless i'm being really dumb and the clutch has given way?
Any Ideas?

oh Dear sorry to hear mate :( when does it make the noise eg pulling off in gear stationary reving. have had plenty of diffs go on me they usually bang pull you to one side (towards a hedge) then throw all the oil out of the hole the diff makes leaving the gearbox:eek:
have had plenty of judder when crank oil seal goes and soaks the clutch:o
have snapped 2 cranks both in the middle main the engines still ran but more of a loud knock than a judder same with big end main bearings.
some mini pulleys are offset weighted to compensate crank vibration check all is tight.
had a fair few flywheels come off just makes noise and you cant go amywhere plus once the flywheel has scored the crank thats no good to:mad: hope you find the problem mate let us know hoe you get on
cheers Dean

Checking the clutch assembley today so will report back soon. it only did it after engaging gear and under load so the clutch is looking more and more likely now..... least it gives me chance to clean the engine bay lol.... i'll stick some pics on my space to if anyones interested.
Cheers all

Hey all think i've found the problem, one Clutch plate which looked fine and dandy as a 'spare' when i built the engine now after having some heat and abuse from my right hoof on the throttle has seeped oil out of the friction plate. That'll teach me! A clean 'Spare' plate can have secrets!
Oh yeah the secret to removing a stubbon flywheel...... Threaten it with a 3lb lump hammer... practically fell off after that.
