The van's not too bad, the green mini next to it makes it look good thats all :p

I dont have a name for you, i just wanted to draw peoples attention to the fine green mini in the pictures :o

call it Gordon after Mr Brown, should cheer him up a bit after what Jeremy Clarkson said. Or maybe not because its not a great name for a mini. i dunno

ha ha ha ha ha

well have been and started some stripping of the van today. have unbolted the front subframe and started knocking the filler out of it.

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/moddinmad/vam/n500345815_1332629_8703.jpg
didn't manage to remove the front subframe as the rear bolts i cant get to at the moment because theres not a jacking point that i could get to.
so gave it a jet wash to get rid of all the mold so the water doesn't sit on it. and as i did took alot of paint off

Tuesdays jobs are remove the front doors and the rest of the lights and then tip it onto its side and check out the floors

Go easy with pressure wash or you will just have the patches left:(

The lad who had it before me certainly liked his filler, you think he would of knocked the dents out first, keep up the good work will look great when its finished

hey guys been pricing up some panels for my van and came across the dialema of what to do with the floors, Do i
a) buy full floor sides from hadrian
b) buy a full floor from m-machine
c) buy a standard mini floor and exstention.

if i buy the full floors from hadrian (£126 a side)i would still have to try and aquire a tunnel to repair it.

the only problem from the full mini van floor for m-machine it its a whopping £525

so have gone with the origonal way it was produced, good old bmc didnt get a press made for the van/pickup floors. they just produced an exstention for the standard mini floors and welded it together. so a total cost of £165 + delivery from minispares.

so next step is outer sills, rear subframe mounts, and a few other little bits. brin on the bonus from work for some major parts... brakes, wheels., interior, engine!!!!

just waiting on the door steps and the new rear subframe then will be ready to rock on with it.

Have decided to get it done asap and do the itlian job at the end of the year in it so have started a facebook group where the updates will probably be more regular, along with a blog site,
