Hey All, Just got my min back from MOT (wipes sweat from brow) bar a couple of stupid things i.e no front number plate it failed on excessive play in the nearside radius arm. After jacking the back end up and doing the usual top and bottom rock and side to side rock i cant find any play. the only noticeable thing is a kind of end float along the radius arm pin which goes after half a turn on the nut. Is Peugeot in Christleton being a touch to througher on the MOT?

PS Never take a Mini for an MOT to the PEACOCK GARAGE on Christleton Road on the way into Chester. The MOT tester when i took my Girlfriends 850 City for and MOT there Boasted to me that he had "scrapped to of these pieces of scrap this morning"! quickly ended the test there took it to Renault on Sealand rd where i used to work and passed first time Bargin! he he

radius arms and pins can be one of the very worst jobs on a mini hope it just needs tightening and greasing let us know how you get on:)
have had very bad service at that pug garage

Luckly all it needed was a good turn on the radius arm nut. Going back for a re-test on Sat morning at 9am so if all goes well can still join you guys at Halfords!

Cheers Steve ;)
