Rear Window defogger

Hello everyone, I just bought my first mini a few weeks ago I failed to notice that my rear screen defroster doesn't work. In fact, on of the heat wires has actually fallen off. Is there a specific way to reattaching it? I was told by a friend to solder it back on???? Any advise would be greatly appreciatted.

You can get heater element repair stuff for when it gets scratched, maybe this could solve your problem?

might be as easy to swap the rear screen for a second hand one. can pick them up at show cheap..

I have one you can have for £20. Got a slight tint of green in it though.

I would change the window will be much better job

I should be more clear, I don't think it's the glass itself as much as the wire that should be connected to it. I'll take a picture today and post it up. thanks again everyone.:rolleyes:
