bought my new mini on 5th november and i'm waiting to start modifications.
it's a standard 998cc with 52000 miles been stood for 5 years in a garage.

Engine MG Metro 1275cc with maniflow manifold,k&n filter,upgraded needle,ported polished 12g940 cylinder head,uprated clutch,water heated inlet,head steady,super cool radiator,playmini dtm exhaust,hi-lo's,kayaba gas adjust damper's,poly bushed subframe's,1.5 tca's,adjustable tie bar's,soild floor mount's,7x13 alleycat alloy's with 175/50 tyres,chrome handle set inside and out chrome bumper's,chrome wiper set,vented discs with 4 pot caliper's,super minifin rear drums,adjustable track/camber bracket's,full re-spray in flame red,roof painted in white,subframe's and all suspension parts painted and powder coated,engine to be painted and alloy parts polished fully detailed.

they sure do got to get down and finish sorting out and then get a parts list of bits still to get and then strip and rebuild and got my mates son's sprite to put sill's,floor pan,a panels,door step,front panel and wings plus work in between them oh and decide what to do with the speedster on whether to sell as a project or get it finished more than enough to keep me going for a while lol

started stripping it down removed the windows,lights,bootlid,rear seats,rear quarter cards,parcel shelf,headlining,fuel tank.
front end to be replaced due to finding rust. will be a bare shell soon and hope to make a spit to help make the rebuild easier.

got it back at home from the lock up so once i've finished the xr4x4 this week i can start on the mini properely.
some pics of it at home where it's upto now and i managed to get it running first time in five years it's run just got no drive so will rip it out and replace with the 1275 engine but will keep the 1000 and rebuild it.

been outside today and stripped the interior out and started doing some bodywork hope weather will stay good for a while. found some rust which will be sorted and car has been started flatting the paint back.

it's a solid mini that's why i bought it as it had been in a garage for 5 years which helped it a lot. will more than likely replace the front end even though there's only a small amount of rust as i only want to do this one once so will strip it to a full bare shell and going to turn it over or on it's side to sort anything underneath and remove all the old underseal and then paint and protect with lots of stone chip and paint it the same colour underneath hope to use for show's and fun when it's done.
will have to sort out the lockup for all the parts to fit and get the mg engine out and strip it and rebuild it.
i could do it quickly but i think it'll end up taking a while to do due to me being fussy

project on hold for a bit as moving house again and will be looking out for a workshop to work from and start collecting all the panels that i'm going to change and making a spit to turn the shell over as i want to strip all the underseal off and maybe seam weld the shell as i'm thinking of putting a cage in and doing some track days and maybe some sprint's.

i'm in a dilema now as been offered a race car and thinking of selling the mini and the parts that i have to do it with including alloy wheels and tyres,spare subframe's,spare re-skinned doors,mg metro engine with ported head,modified carb,maniflow manifold,playmini exhaust,1.5 degree arm's,adjustable tie bars,brand new wiper motor,brand new su electric pump and loads of other stuff too much too mention but how much is it worth to sell as a job lot with a 52000 miles 2 owner mini city e the one in this thread just unsure what it's all worth any ideas?
