Ive had a bit of a problem with the aircon on my audi it smelt like burning then went off i havent had a look yet as ive got to remove most of the front to get to the compressor anyone any ideas ?
This is why i love my mini`s non of this rubbish on any of mine to go wrong:)

Sounds to me like it needs re-gasssing, cost about £140 for your Audi!

gas is ok can get it done for nout:)

Check to see if clutch engages when u switch on aircon inside.
if not could be aircon solenoid which engages aircon to drive belt.
Hence the burning smell.
I have a greta cd which i can lend u LOL! if u know what i mean to help with cars!

Cheers mate :) have had a proper look today and the aircon compressor has stuck causing the clutch to burn out so new compressor ordererd.
think its the most expensive car part ive ever bought:mad: but never mind just makes me like my mini`s more:)

Yes its sorted! Ouch! Few hard earned pennies later! Damn these foreign cars. Long live the MINI :D
