info on a mini beaver required

hi all not sure if i am posting this in the right place but i,m lookin for a bit of info any help would be appreciated
i have managed to pick up a beach buggy style mini/beaver but i don,t know any of the history of them can any1 help !!
it has all the standard mini based running gear (front and rear subframes) i think it may be based on the van or pick up but i only think this because of the petrol tank it has a mk1 850 mini engine magic wand 3 sincro type box if any1 can give me any info on who built the kit estimated years of build that sort of thing thanks for any info you can provide and a new project is about to start

Do you have any photos of the car so I can see what it looks like, I used to be into beach buggies when I was younger and perhaps I might reconise it if I saw it

hi mate, i bought a mini beaver over a year ago but mine was only a rolling shell and i have been trying for over a year to find things out aswell but when i bought mine i was told there were only 7 made by 1 man for his family i don't know if this true or not. the only thing i have found out about mine was converted from a 1974 morris mini 1000. I have not done any thing to mine cause i don't know if it has got to go for a sva test or not and i want to find some pics of it to see what it really looked like so she just sits in the garden rotting away cause i have only got 1 garage were another mini sits at the moment. Yours might be abit different i don't know, mine has a fiber glass front where the headlights and grill sit with beaver write across the top, the bonnet is similar to a moke instaed of being rounded its angled with clips holding the bonnet and the front down, It's a 2 seater and the back behind the seats is like a flatbed area hope this helps alittle.
