hi all i was wonderin if you could change a 1275 auto to a manual and would a 998 manual box fit???

Deano is the auto man... but I bet it would be much easier to find a manual complete engine and use the conversion mounts.

Do you mean change the engine from an auto & fit a manual one or convert a auto block/engine to run a manual gearbox:confused:

both can be done but the block conversion much more difficult:)

im sure a 998 box wil fit a 1275 its just different gear ratios. the 998 box has a higher top end.

I think they will fit they look the same its abit of a job to strip down etc need tools to remove tourqe convertor
