just a quick question about the dashboard in niffty, after a quote from tonyelf from my pictures. Is it not original to mini's ??:confused: You have to forgive my ignorance but being new to the world of minis i hadn't even seen a riley elf before

You can see the Elf in the car park before you log in. Will try and find a decent photo for you of dash.:)

Wooden dash boards where fitted to minis. They where aftermaret. And the mini special from the late 70's was fitted with a wooden board as standard. So yours could be the original.

Haynes Restoration Manual Mini is not a bad book. It list all the oringal spec's and colours etc and how to do a lot things.

Dont know but the Elf is just a mini with a boot. Nearly the same as the Hornet.

I know its not Aus but New Zealand made 1975 riley elfs in 1964;) have a nice day in work allmost bed time here lol
