No feed to the fuel pump

I don't have a feed from the battery to the fuel pump. If a power suiply is connected to the pump directly then the engine runs fine so the pump seems fine. I am no expert and thankfully have someone looking at it for me at the moment but does anyone have any pointers please? Also does anyone know where I can get hold of a wiring diagram for a 1992 Cooper 1.3i? cheers

the full wiring diagrams are in the haynes manual mate, haven't seen any online anywere (i was looking for one for an '88 carb mini too!)

Yes I had totally forgot about the Haynes Manual - I do have one of those and lo and behold there are a number of wiring diagrams - they don't mean much to me personally but they should help the guy who is looking at it for me! cheers
