Try the door key.if the locks have not been changed it should open it
Some locks can be quite worn and a worn key may just do the trick

If you persivere you may just find some one with a few spare keys to try otherwise you will have to drill lock out and buy a replacement lock. Where are you based?

Hello The 1st think to do is try some other mini keys
Then if no joy drill the lock out & replace?
I have in the past forced the boot open but can cause damage to the back panel:(
Good luck

Bit of a hike to the Chester area to borrow our keys LOL. Have you tried your local mini club?

i'd imagine its possible to undo the nuts on the bootlid from through the parcel shelf speaker holes....extension bar required!.once undone the boot should pull clear..worth a go.

brake the lock by using abit of force, push down towards end that it opens if your quick enough you shouldnt damage the boot that the final option

sure you could unbolt your rear bumber (3x11mm bolts i think) then you have access to the 4 screws holding the hindges on, unscrew then and just lift the boot away! :D
