Been hard at it trying to fix RSP, this weekend.

My lights have been choosing to work and not, since before the run.

The heater matrix has gone also, could this be the cause of some of the electrical problems??????

Maybe water or stream has got onto some wires and caused a short???????

Tried fuses and everything else!!!

The main lights are on all the time when the ignition is on, can't get spots to come on at all.

Please help.:(

Glad I could help by finding the loose connections (including the loose earth clamp on the battery which didn't help matters!) I just wished I had some decent connectors at the time but at least the problem was solved and proved with the temp connector block.

Go back 5 posts and you'll you'll find this

Glad I could help by finding the loose connections (including the loose earth clamp on the battery which didn't help matters!) I just wished I had some decent connectors at the time but at least the problem was solved and proved with the temp connector block.

Some one (not Rob) had changed the fuse box and cut spade connectors off to replace with the tubed crimped type. (The live side of second fuse had two brown wires stripped of their insulation by only 4mm and were too big for a blue tube. Not only were the wires too short they were only crimped together inside the plastic section and not the metal part hence a lousy connection. It did my head in trying to find out why the horn didn't get the supply and the wires felt tight in the connector until I tugged them a little harder and they came out. they were'nt even twisted together! Plonkers !:)
Hope this is clear for you to read?
