Hello All, Help?
I'm enquiring as to how an aftermarket panel is joined. I know from previous comments that the only panels that fit are British Heritage, but sometimes there is no choice, especially in Canada. However, how does one make a new panel fit an old panel? Specifically, I'm replacing the right rear wheel well (aftermarket) and joining it to the boot floor, then putting in the boot floor rear piece (to replace rust, and the panel is aftermarket as BH piece is whole including back seat bottom, [too much work]). This piece (the boot floor rear) has sloped front corner edges where they join the wheel well, so that they don't join the wheel well at 90 degrees, maybe 45 degrees. How is this junction made? Afterwards, there is a reinforcing bracket that goes on. The previous repair is such that the joining is not clear, as well, there are no publications I can find, that shows what to do. Can anyone help? Thank you.
