Just some photos of a little project that I have got for Rhiannon. We are hoping to get it home on saturday, and then do a full strip down on it. :rolleyes:

The plan is to have it on the road, over the next 6 to 10 months time. All the welding as been done. There are no panels to replace as the body is very good for it age.

Yeah looks like an ideal project if all the welding's done. You can just do all the 'fun' stuff. Like spending money on pretty shiney things. I love the spots on that, they're massive!

Up date on Rhiannon's mini, we have been busy striping the car inside and out. Clean up the underside of the car. Got the engine started after not being started for 18 months. And started sorting out the body.

Started to fit the arches and mould them into the body. And the bonnet into a Mk1 and started to undercoat it.

The colour is just some light blue mixed into the undercoat. ;)

Yep I think it is going to be blue with old english white roof and wheels.

I had an idea you may have been mixing a bit to create a "different" shade so others might not be able to copy? (a one off sort of thing maybe?)
Using a shade of blue will probably give you a deeper blue in end result. It's a nice colour as it is though.
