Just want to say thanks for trying to help me today, found the problem the connecting rod from the actuator to the waste gate had come appart due to a missing clip cost me £1.99 a lot cheeper than subaru. They are just as much of a pain to work on as the mini.Thanks again

Good stuff mate thought the turbo wasnt doing much was blasting all the fumes down the exhaust instead of thru the turbo Glad you sorted it mate i felt abit gutted that it could have been a nackererd turbo

All i could see was large pound signs gave it a good thrashing to barmouth today all seems fine

Ar, i did say to check the actuator first :) Glad all is well as i know how expensive turbo cars in general are to fix.
