Great Mini addicts weekend. Can't say I thought much of the venue. Facilities were poor, our space woefully inadequate, but we had a good time.

Highlights for me were:-

Journey down in dual convoy was fun. Graham ignoring me when I'd waited to show him the way that the first lot had gone. Then saying it wasn't too bad as we'd only lost one or two cars !

Phil's valiant attempt at cooking in the middle of us all and his quirky idea of hand hygiene.

Kay hating the wine she'd brought but managing to drink almost the contents of the complete box.

The hangovers that kept two addicts in their tent until an hour before we left.

The jet powered drag thingy that actually impressed Grace.

Many more locations for me to add to my thesis on the great british layby that I will start next year.

Most of all though, great company, many laughs, and good driving. Someday the weather must improve for us surely.

john I think we need deck chairs for the layby stops...

and it wasn't the first half that had gone just some rouge miniaddicts deciding that they knew better that Deano's sat nav either that or they couldn't keep up with Mav-o-matic.. at least I managed to shout you've gone the wrong way....:D

Been watching too many films about acceptable loss's:D :D

I had a great time driving... the car felt so much more fun... oh have I mentioned that I like runs... even more the now the car is comfy...

Just need to talk the wife into spending some cash on performance upgrades...;)

Did any of you grab a bargain at the show?

Yes that wine was awful (yuk). Managed to get suitably intoxicated tho so it couldn't of been too bad.

No bargains for me and Deano, but we did pick up some good ideas. Going to start selling some mini bits to fund POLO's rebuild

I've got a load on my Flickr account here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/nurseholliday/sets/72157600728804210/)
There's a few different photos there, the ones of MITP start with the Red Mark one look alike with the mesh grille.

i didn't seem to get many pics either! the camera didn't like the rain much! was still a good weekend but i agree with john about the facilities really letting it down! was ok on the sunday but camping was a joke! no lights, toilets 1/2 a mile away, thick mud and not aloud to move the cars and any entertainment was a mile walk away in the rain! :( show was ok tho.... :)
