rear fog lamp

hi all i cant get my rear fog working any suggestions ?

Would be a great help if you told us what YOU have checked instead of just saying "can't get it to work" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

checked bulb and switch is there an in line fuse ????????

You got your lights on whilst checking ?confused:

yes mate got the ignition on to

First test your bulb (and check it's the correct one and that there is no rust in the lamp holder). It has been known to buy a new duff one,in fact I once took three back and found the whole box at the motor factors to be duff!
Have you put a 12v test lamp on it to see if power there?. If not you may find a bullet connector on line in the boot.pull apart and try test lamp on lead off main harness .If thats dead then it must be up front .Just got to be patient M8. Switch may be dirty or spade terminals dirty and/or loose.

If all else fails put a wire direct to the lamp from the front. If that fails...and the earth(important) is good? then you have a big problem!

the folt on mine was the switch if that helps

mine wasn't working coz if the connectors that connect it to the inline fuze, the blue wire under the bonnet.
