You will need a large breaker bar (18" minimum length) plus maybe a scaffold tube on the end of it to undo them as they are torqued up to about 150lbsFt.
Silly question but have you removed the split pin completely?

Cheers

Ps if you get stuck, bring the car up on afternoon this week and i will crack the nuts off for you!!

They can get very tight but me Britool breaker bar hasnt let me down yet.

There is an all else fails Dodgy Deano way of doing it which will probably result in injury but if as daft here is how you can do it.

Get a good breaker bar & socket

Put it on the nut horizontal to the floor (or as near as)

Put jack under the bar and jack it up offside in front off wheel & nearside Behind wheel (this is where injury occurs when bar fly`s off)

Hey presto the car will lift abit but usually it gives & comes off.

Up to you but would try big bar 1st

Cheers Deano

No Luck so far, just bruised shins!!! The thing just wont budge! I got my self some leverage(18 inches of steel tube!!!:D ) and all I did was bend the straight bar on the socket when I was stood on it, then I fell off and whacked my shins  so I started to swear at it, but that didn't work either!!:D I will give it another go in a bit but if still no luck I might take up Markrallys kind offer;)

Still no luck:mad: I've had my dad and my brothers help, but none of us could move it. By buzz gun do you mean what they use in garages to tighten wheel nuts? In which case I don't have access to one.

Markrally you have a pm

Yeah that will shift the beggar! I have got a powerful one in work its just you will need a compressor 2 power it! Plus with that you have got a chance of stripping the thread! If you want i could ask my m8 in work if I could borrow his battery powered one an come and give it a go?
