Hmmm, didn't smell like antifreeze did it? Just if your heater matrix has gone it could produce steam? check all round the heater box for traces of water. Not sure about the indicator tho? Coluld be a fault with the stalk???
Only smoked from the drivers side, and there was definately "sticky stuff" dripping from the heater matrix.
Have disconnected the battery as a precaution - hope that it can be sorted before Caerwys! :(

Just make sure you have chewing gum when you go out in it, any leaks just plug em up! Thats wot i used to do with my windscreen!! Only joking, don't take any notice!!!
Cheers mate, will check the water level.
Is the indy maybe a short out. The red ignition light also flashes:confused:

Hard to tell without looking at it! So the left one is working ok? Can you hear the flasher unit under the dash?
The left one works fine (for now!!) I can hear it, but nothing when the right one is on:mad:

Another common fault is water in the indicator lens, covering the bulb terminals at back. Remove and dry out if water ingress. If this is the case you will have to find out where it is getting in. Don't forget the rain was exceptional at one stage today, more like a power wash!

I'd try a indicator stalk 1st. Would have thort if there was a short the fuse would have blown.
Will have a look at the fuse and a scout out tomorrow night. Will let you all know how I get on.
Thanks for the help, keep them coming:)
Have a few things to check.:)

Fiddle with hazard switch too that stop em working if on abit
Rob is currently fiddling with his mini.
Looks like the heater matrix has gone - both indicators are now working - but the hazards don't!! Strange.........
I am sure he will be on later with more information.

Hazzard switches r a bugger!
The nights finding are:-
The hazard switch fuse has blown (you are right, they are a tricky one phil)
The heater matrix has gone, water just comes straight in when you turn it on!!!!!!
So will be putting an order in for one of them.
The indys are working for now!!!
Thanks for all the help.:) :) :)

You can allways take the heater out and couple the pipes together if you still want to use your mini:)
It is looking that way mate!!! or a bowl under it!!!
Have also found another problem:mad: , refitting the air filter and other bits.
The Carburettor air intake gasket has perished, does anyone happen to have one that I could buy?
The hazards are now in good working order after a new fuse:) :)
