There is a ‘Run what you Brung’ on the Saturday to give people the opportunity to put their minis against the clock. Camping is available at this event and again if you wish to take part please fill out a form and hand back to Kaye with the correct money asap.
Website
We have over 500 members on our internet forum. We have had a few incidents of swearing lately. We do try our best to keep this to a minimum as we understand people have young children who might look at the site. All software will soon be updated and the security re-set. We will soon have a new section on the website detailing all forthcoming events and will be updated as is necessary. This will be a READ ONLY part of the site and can only be updated by the moderators. The section will have links on to other parts of the forum where you can chat about the up coming events. The support we have on our website is fantastic and is growing daily. We have members from all over the world coming on and requesting our help. We feel this is a good source of information for all Miniaddicts.
Miniworld Magazine
We have yet again been in Miniworld Magazine this month, with pictures of Paddy Hopkirk with Graces mini and Eric and Jen attending a rolling road day with Minifinity.
We also had a mention in Tuesdays Evening Leader with a picture of Dean and Kaye on their Wedding Day with the ‘Mini Limousine’ from Derek’s Minis.
CES
CES have opened an account for all Miniaddicts ‘paid up’ members (see dean for account number). They have a huge amount of mini parts available. Dean has purchased several throttle cables if anyone needs one. Also they have Comma Oil and Hydro elastic Fluid available at very reasonable prices. Give them a try before ringing your usual supplier. Parts for all other cars are also available.
Car Stickers
Dean apologised that we have no white windscreen stickers left at present but should have some by Sunday. All other colours are available and small stickers too.
New Miniaddicts T-Shirts
We have recently changed supplier and our new t-shirts are available with the Miniaddicts membership (2 for family membership and 1 for a single). If you wish to purchase extra t-shirts they are available at £15 each. All members wear the t-shirts at shows and make us look smart and stand out.
Zaps and Events Sheets
We have a new supply of these available please keep spreading the word.
Russ Swift at Cheshire Oaks
A few weeks back there was a car chow at Cheshire Oaks and Russ Swift attended to do his usual tricks. One of our members - Keith got Russ to sign a ‘Zap’ which will be raffled off this evening.
Welcome to our 4 new members who signed up this evening.
Dean thanked everyone for attending and closed the meeting.
