Is there something in the rear suspension or rear axle that could start causing some tail happy handling if it's worn out. I'm sure I heard or read about some bushes or bearings that can cause adverse handling effects when worn. I've now had perhaps one too many heart in the mouth moments, and they've all been when I'm pootling along, not even driving fast. The only other thing I can think of is intermittent sticking rear brakes.

It could be the rear sub frame rubbers or your bushes in the rear suspension arm. Best get it checked out obviously, hope it's not too serious. Not lack of air tyre is it?
Keep us informed of your findings.Always handy to know.
Iv'e noticed Elle is pulling over to left(what mini doesn't?) M8 of mine said check subframe mounting rubbers. Dean told me to lift bonnet up and while I turned steering wheel from side to side the engine moved from side to side (or so it seemed) in fact the whole car was moving instead. A job for a nice warm day I suppose!

Yeah I think I might leave it to a "professional" to give it a once over. I do need to check the tyres though, it may just be that they are past the tread limit.

You best get it checked out straight away mate, could end up in a serious accident.

As for my mini, its always having a tail happy moment, even in the wedding convoy!!!
